301) Phenomena-II Dream Runner 1987

Av Mikael Persson - 6 april 2017 15:31

Album number two from this incredible supergroup that made some unforgettable music in the 1980's! This is again melodic hardrock with a lot of keyboards and with impressing melodic, orchestral and powerful songs with fantastic vocals. A must-have for fans of melodic rock and hardrock! The production was better than on the previous album but some songs tend to be a bit repetitive.

This time the players were Ray Gillen (ex Black Sabbath)and Glenn Hughes on vocals (ex Trapeze, ex Deep Purple, Black Country Communion), Mel Galley (ex Trapeze and ex Whitesnake) and John Thomas (Budgie)on guitar and Neil Murray (ex Colosseum II and Whitesnake) on bass.

New member's since the last album were John Wetton (ex King Crimson, ex Roxy Music, ex Uriah Heep, ex UK, ex Wishbone Ash, ex Asia), and Max Bacon (ex Nightwing, ex Bronz, ex GTR) on vocals, Scott Gorham (Thin Lizzy) on guitars, Kyoji Yamamoto (Bow Wow), guitars, Michael Sturgis and Toshihiro Niimi (Bow Wow) on drums and Leif Johansen on keyboards.

Ray Gillen died in 1993, Mel Galley died in 1998, John Thomas died in 2016 and John Wetton died in 2017.
