This american band continues their way through music history with their hard hitting heavy metal leaning a lot towards the modern death metal style with their screaming growls all over the album. Unfortunately this album could have been much better if they had any good songs. On here there aint much of that. It just goes on and on and all songs sounds the same. I'm not against stone crushing hard music like this, but this does not rock at all and it doesn't shake my balls. And to squeeze in 14 songs is just rediciolus.

After the great succsess of her lastest album Bodyrock in 1989, Aaron released this album in the typical vein och the early 90's at the same time grunge took over the rock world. Only in her native Canada did it reach any charts. It's an album with some ridicoulus lyrics and photos, it's heavy hardrock with big choirs, strong melodies and also with horns. It sounds dated and not very fun to listen to today. We had heard this too many times already in 1991. Also the songs are not very good but listenable.

Former Racer X and nowadays Mr. Big-guitarist with another solo album. The music is a progressive mix of funk, jazz and blues. Some okey and some good songs. The album includes 3 cover songs originally performed by Yes, Willie Dixon and AC/DC, which shows Gilbert's varaiety in his musical preferences.

The drummer Thomas Lang is from Austria and has played on many many artists records and has recieved many prices for best drummer.

On this, Symphony X's 7th album they really got things together. From beeing a promising progressive metal band with something missing to be one of the leading ones in the genre I love so much. This is great stuff from beginning to end with their hard hitting bass and drum-section, super heavy guitar riffing, symphonic keyboards and variated songs with power and glory! Listen and enjoy some quality music!

Drug-addict doom band St.Vitus here released their first album since 1995 and the first since 1990 to feature Wino on vocals. Since drummer Armando Costa's death in 2010 at the age of 58, they have a new drummer (what!) named Henry Vasquez. The album is way too short and the last song which is 7 minutes of nonsense guitar chaos makes me wonder if they didn't have any more ideas or did the drugs take overhand? Very heavy doom and they sound like should and did in the 80's. These guys are pissed off and the music is very very dark.

2)The bleeding ground (7,5)

3)Vertigo (-)

4)Blessed night (8,0)

5)The waste of time (7,5)

Score: 6,17
