Incredibly enough this band's last album of original material was released in 1974! 32 years later it was time again and it features old New York Dolls rockers David Johansen and Sylvain Sylvain but 3 original members had died prior to this albums release. Johnny Thunders died already in 1991, Jerry Nolan in 1992 and Arthur Kane in 2004. The bonus track Seventeen features bluesmusician Bo Diddley (1928-2008) and Michael Stipe from R.E.M and Iggy Pop make vocalappearences. The album recieved good reviews and reached nr. 129 on the US Billboard list and nr. 3 on the Finnish charts. The music is positive, enercig, alive and punky rock'n'roll with great old man's deep vocals but it also features calmer melodic songs and there's a good quality all through. An album to enjoy and get happy to!

Bassist Sami Yaffa from Finland has played with Hanoi Rocks and Michael Monroe.

Finnish band that headed from their native Kuusamo to city Oulu to begin their career in 1978 and released their 1st album in 1982 and this is their 4th album. This is not the best album I've heard to say the least... It quite amateurish played and produced melodic hardrock with strange plastic drumsound and the guitars sound like they were recorded in an empty steelcan. The singing is somewhat weak but sounds better in the heavier songs. Two songs are good, the rest l don't want to listen to again.

Mystique rockers Blue Öyster Cult's 4th album which was a lighter and poppier album than the previous ones. It seems like they wanted do reach chart success and they did! The song "Dont fear the reaper" reached nr. 12 on the singles chart and nr. 29 on the album chart. It's not a bad album (except for "True confessions" and "Debbie Denise"); they still had the typical BÖC mystique progressive style that dominated but with much more commercial elements it their unique rock-hardrock. Wishbone Ash comes to mind here and there.

1)This ain't the summer of love (7,0)

2)True confessions (3,5)

3)(Don't fear) the reaper (7,5)

6)Sinful love (6,5)

8)Morning final (6,5)

10)Debbie Denise (4,0)
